We were married on Oct. 7th and couldn't be happier!
For the first time in my life, I have found what so many others have had at one time or another.... HAPPINESS! David and I met here on Largefriends at the beginning of May when I was deleting my profile because I was giving up. I believe in fate... destiny... or whatever you want to call it... and I know that we were meant to find each other that day. Why didn't we meet earlier? Who knows.... After spending time together, we both knew that we were meant to be together and he proposed. We were married on Oct. 7th and couldn't be happier!
When we met we stopped membership. Back in december 2005 i met my partner through this site he was living in switzerland now he has moved to yhe uk and we have bought a house together and ingaged i am so happy.
Thank you LargeFriends! I joined LargeFriends December 2006 and winked at Jonathan August 2007. We hit it off instantly. We started emailing then chatting and then talking via Skype. We met in person that November and on the third day he proposed! Jonathan lived in England and I live in the States so we immediately started the fiance visa process. October 2008 I married the man of my dreams. I did not know this kind of love was possible. It is still hard to believe that I was so blessed to find the one man that accepts me and loves me unconditionally. I have truly found my soulmate. God put us together and used LargeFriends to do it.
Advice to other members:
Hang in there! I met a few odd guys and some very nice ones also on this site before my husband. My biggest piece of advice is to not limit yourself geographically. I was open to someone living in the US but my husband lived in England. If I had stuck to my initial boundaries I would not have found him. Jonathan ended up moving to the States and he had originally not planned to move at all when he joined but love knows no boundaries.

We met here November 2007 and when we met face to face 4 days later, we knew that we would spend the rest of our lives together. We were married this past November 18th on the two year anniversary of when we first met. :-)

Well we did it! We got married at Graceland then came back to the UK and had a fantastic reception for all our family and friends complete with Elvis impersonator lol. Love Mike more everyday and can't remember what life was like before i met him. This proves that LF works
